USVI Itinerary

Sailing in the US Virgin Islands focuses on the main islands of St. Thomas and St. John with possible stops at some of the surrounding smaller islands and Cays.
Sample Itinerary for an 8 day/7 night cruise:
Day One – Afternoon arrival in St. Thomas with boarding the boat by 5:30pm. That night is spent on the dock to enjoy settling into the boat and a dinner ashore.
Day Two – After breakfast – a quick sail out to Buck Island. Snorkel over a wrecked freighter. After lunch, sail up to Solomon’s Beach between Cruz Bay and Caneel Bay. This beach and the adjacent Honeymoon Beach are picture perfect with good snorkeling between them – perhaps with a harmless Ray or Sea Turtle. The quaint town of Cruz Bay is a short dinghy ride away for some late afternoon shopping and it is “5 o’clock somewhere” at several of the beach bars.
Day Three – After breakfast and, perhaps, a swim to the beach – a quick sail over to Lovongo Cay and enjoy the amenities of the Lovongo Resort & Beach Club with lunch at the waterside restaurant. In the afternoon, sail around to Maho Bay. A great spot for watersports and enjoy a cold drink on the beach at Maho Crossroads.
Day Four – Enjoy a nice sail around the east end of St. John to Coral Bay. Don’t miss the craft cocktails and tacos at the world famous Lime Out. Then afternoon sail to Salt Pond for some beach and watersports fun.
Day Five – After a stop at one of St. John’s other south shore bays, we will sail down to Christmas Cove, Great St. James Island. One dinner option there is carryout pizza from Pizza PI (Pizza boat).
Day Six – sail over to Hans Lolik and then to Magens Bay on the north side of St. Thomas for the night.
Day Seven – Sail down to Botany Bay – a secluded beach anchorage on the northwest side of St. Thomas. Then around to Water Island for the night.
Day Eight – quick stop at Crown Bay Marina to top up the fuel tank and back to the dock for a 10AM departure.
